He Did It All For Love “How can you love me, O Lord?”, I asked, Because I simply couldn’t grasp… How my sins were reconciled, And He said to me, “Dear Child… “Sun and moon separate day from night, I hung the stars for your delight… Birds of the air and beasts of the ground, In all of Nature, My love abounds. “When you weep, I weep with you, And store your tears in a bottle, it’s true… And when you are too weak to stand, I hold you in the hollow of My hand. “I’m always ready to hear your prayers, And able to take away your cares… Yet even when you cannot speak, My Holy Spirit intercedes. “And if these things don’t prove My love, I sent My Son from Heaven above… To pay in full your every sin, To forgive, and grant you life again.” Then in humility I hung my head, “But I don’t deserve all this”, I said… He smiled and said “Dear Child, I know… I did it because I love you so.” -Dena Plotner Mumm, 5/25/03

About the Book
"Inspired By The Master" is a compilation of poetry written over the past decade since I re-dedicated my life to Christ. It includes Christmas and Easter poems, poems for special events and special people, inspirational poems and much more. It is my hope that you, the reader, will find enlightenment and peace in my work, and that you will find our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to be all that I have found Him to be...a Friend and Comforter in all circumstances, with the power to transform our lives.
About the Author
I was born in Champaign, IL and have lived in the Heartland all my life. My love for poetry developed early. However, my abilities really blossomed and took flight when I re-dedicated my life to Christ in 1997. I determined that my talents were a gift from God and decided to use them for His glory. My goal for this, my first book, is to spread the wonderful gospel of hope that Jesus has freely offered to all people. I pray that my words, inspired by Christ, will touch your heart with the Truth and lead you into a saving relationship with Him.
