About the Book

     Trent Layman has a great life at the time at Oakville Middle School.  However, his life is soon turned upside down when he discovers a book in the school's library.  The book seems to be more than an ordinary book and Trent is teleported into a world beyond anyone's imagination.  Trent must find a way back to his own world and a peculiar band of characters teams up with him to send him back into his own time.  But someone has other plans for this seventh-grade student. . .

About the Author

     Chase Freeman has enjoyed writing stories ever since his early school years.  The thirteen-year-old lives in Tennessee with his mother, father, and brother.  The Knight of Oakville Middle, book one of  The Valiance Trilogy, was his first book published.
