Adrian played on the Boys Volleyball team in his freshman year at Plainfield Central High School. Adrian achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2007 with the help of Troop 75 of Bolingbrook. This is the highest and most honored rank in Boy scouts.
"I did this book for my Eagle project for the sick kids at Edwards Hospital. I was inspired to write this story because all my life I have seen all kinds of doctors. I know what it feels like to go to the hospital and see doctors. I'm still scared every now and then, but I know that they're there to help me. Even though I have Cerebral Palsy, I don't let it get in the way of me enjoying my life. I play sports like anybody else. I always look at the cup half full!"
