About the Book
This book is about the three vital components that made the Black race great. Belief in God, thurst for education and the working together of family members. These items were the rule. Today, for far too many familes, they are the exception. In the old days Blacks helped family members while they were in the cradel and gave them their last drink of water while they were on their death bed. All family members were expected to finish high school and go to college if financially possible. Practing self respect, respecting others, sharing and going to church was also required. A small number of fathers did not attend church, but they made their children go. Today image, houses, cars, clothes and other material goods have moved up the ladder of priorites. Far too many Blacks don't attend church, monitor their children's home work or communicate with family members. This book allots 5% to outlining the problems and 95% to dicussing old and new proven solutions to our many problems. This research is based on my real life experiences and suggestions from others who have confronted and some who are still dealing with these problems every day.
