Verse 16 of the same chapter reads “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” Notice his words “I have chosen you and ordained you”, it is a true privilege to be among the chosen ones, to go past the stage of being called. We are the ones who determine that step, we decided whether or not to go into that stage, and what a glorious journey it is when you take that step of faith and go into the area that God has called us to go into. Looking back now, seeing where I was, where I am, and where I am going, I can tell you it is the best decision that you will ever make. Nobody said it was going to be easy, but he promised never to leave you nor forsake you all the days of your life. Allow me to put it to you this way answering the call is like signing a contract, with the only difference that you won’t hate or beat yourself over the head for signing it. When you answer the call you must do it with the Holy Spirit by your side knowing that you are entering into Holy Covenant with the Lord. Let me show you 5 characteristics of the Holy Spirit when you decide to answer the call, they are as follows; 1. The Holy Spirit is with us forever – John 14:16 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” 2. The Holy Spirit brings to memory the word of God – John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach all the things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” 3. The Holy Spirit Testifies about Christ – John 15:27 “ and ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning” 4. Convicts the world of sin – John 16:8 “and when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin.....” 5. The Holy Spirit Guides us to all truth – John 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth....” All of these 5 steps are so important to remember because they are the elements that will enable you to not only to get the call but to answer

Everywhere you look there is a need that must be met in the Body of Christ. The question is, "Will you be the one of the many or one of the few?"
Now is the time to arise from amongst the rest, and be an example of light, and service. Through that example, lives will be touched and influenced to serve in God's Kingdom.
There will be many challenges and questions regarding the call that the Lord may place on your life, but rest assured that God will guide you all the way through.
Whatever your situation or place in life, NOW is the time to say, "Yes Lord!" and you will come face-to-face with an almighty, and loving God. This is your time, this is your moment, do not let it pass you by!
ACCEPTING THE CALL will be the greatest journey that you will ever make!
