About the Book

Challenged to get up and change the world, Darnell Rutherford (Debt Man) came face to face with life altering issues that pushed him against his will to do just that... to change the world.  Although the judicial system in the form of the death penalty, which was ran by conscienceless authorities, was a rather complex subject to tackle on his own, Darnell rose to the occasion with much help from an encouraging Creator, loving family members, and a well respected media personality.

When you stand before the judge and hear the final rendered verdict regarding your life, will you reply "Justice has been done", or "Justice?  What Justice?"

About the Author

Dear Readers:

Paula Terry-Kuria, from Indiana, hails from a large family, as she is the thirteenth of fourteen children.

Later in life, she would go on to  write several expressions that were bought by the American Greetings Card Company.

One day, the dark side of life happened.  Trouble was in full alert status, and she could not do anything to remedy the problem, because she was so young and inexperienced in the official business of law.

One would think that days leading up to an execution would be the worst happenings a person could live through.  However, December 8, 1994, her family's nightmare escalated into unbearable chains of events.  Sadly, some are haunted by this cruel reality until this present day.

She found herself writing in her head for months before pen, paper, or computers were involved, about this whirlwind of events that are close to her heart.

Paula has a strong voice regarding capital punishment, because  in 1994, her older brother, Gregory Duane Resnover, was the last man to undeservingly die by the electric chair in the state of Indiana on that freezing cold December morning. Because of false reporting from local and some national news centers, the author of this novel can no longer totally trust, nor view television news in quite the same way as in yesteryears.

Paula wants to convey her knowledge of empowerment in this matter to people who just don't know what to do when they reach this particular crossroad.  This wonderfully woven journey of a family in dire needs will surely point you toward several choices for maximum outcome.

She would also like to have this powerful piece of work added as a prerequisite for all university students who are pursuing the many levels of legal diplomas, certificates, and degrees, etc.
