About the Book

This is a story about a young woman who did a lot with her life.  She was truly a wonderful person and she always had funny things to say.  It was sad to see her suffer as she did and her mother was always at her side as she faced the sad things in life.  When you read this book you will laugh and cry throughout the story.

About the Author

Rita Rosa Vela was born in Brooklyn, New York.  She is now living on the West Coast of Florida with her husband.  As Rita Rosa Vela celebrates her success of her first novel, "Mama Plus Six", she has another of her books published namely, "Spiral of Deceit" and now "Why Me!".  Her gift for story telling is clearly apparent within the pages of her books.  One of the primary goals in each book, is to have the reader learn and grow from each of the characters life experiences.
