Gran and the Tied Man

     Purposefully they walked over to the high wall of the graveyard and went in through the metal gates. It was bright sunshine and not in the least bit creepy. Paul and Fraser ran over to a grave near the far wall. It had a high stone, a bit crumbly, and the words on it were filled in in moss.  "Here, right here," said Paul pointing to the ground behind the stone. Rob looked down. There was a pair of boots sticking out from behind the stone.  So someone was there. He ran quickly round to see the whole figure and for a moment it seemed that he did. then he blinked, because there wasn't anyone there at all. The boots had gone and whoever was wearing them.

     The boys stared. They stared again.  The two younger boys squeezed Rob's arm till he yelped.

     "Mummydaddy, help, help!  This does not rule. What, what?  Give me strength.  Weird!  Scary!"  were just a few of their remarks.

     They sat down on the grass.  "This is unreal. Did we see a man or not?" asked Rob.

     "He was there. Definitely and then he like, wasn't," said Fraser.

     "What did he look like, Paul?"

     "Couldn't see his face, but his hair was, like long, dirtyish and his hands were- well- tied in front."

     "Yup, in front," Fraser confirmed.  "He had on boots. Where is he?"
