About the Book

My name is Josephine MacDonald and I was born in Lennoxtown in Scotland in 1960.  I was raised by my mum and dad in Glasgow, and studied at All Saints Secondary School, were I attained seven O'Levels.

At the tender age of fourteen, I was introduced to a lovely young man, a friend of my cousin, to whom would end up being my husband in the years that followed.

At sixteen I worked as a personal assistant within an advertising company, and became engaged.

At seventeen I got married to my child hood sweetheart and from there on in my life was to be a very happy one.

In 1981 my first child was born, he was a beautiful handsome and delicate little boy. Three years later I had a beautiful young gorgeous daughter which completed my family unit.

We had a very content and happy family and basically lived our lives within our own boundaries. Our children wanted for nothing, and we both worked very hard to produce a lovely lifestyle, including  great communication with our children, god education, nice homes, and family holidays.

This was not to last forever as at the end of 1998 it started to go horribly wrong for myself and for my family. I lost several jobs through ill health as I battled to keep the life I so much loved.

This book is based on facts which reveals all the emotions of love and friendship, forgiveness, self pity etc, and hopefully can help people understand that they are not alone when life turns sour and that there is always a way forward if you look deep enough.

Please enjoy.
