Woes Of Playing A Teen


Oh no, I'm in trouble, I'm playing a teenager
And forgot to shave my stubble.
Here I am playing a 'high schooler'
I'm worried 'bout my mortgage and if I can look cooler.
Uh huh, this is where I stand.
I've already been to college,
But I'm in the high school band.

Oh yeah, this is getting bad.
When I act my age in movies, my fans, they all get mad.
Well swell, if you thought that that was sad.
My ex-girlfriend plays my sister
And she's now dating our acting dad.
Sum it up to the wonders of TV,
My 'older' brother's taller but he was born years after me.

Oh so, did you know that I could sing?
Well I have not sung in years, but my agent heard 'Ka-Ching'
Now, with a soundtrack for the studio,
My co-stars and I are in a music video.
These are some of the trials I face.
I've signed a five year contract,
So I must handle it with grace.
