Eyes
closed, I feel your presence as you enter my
room. Your magnetism permeating the air,
like an invisible hypnotic aura that enshrouds
me. Instantly intensifying the air, I
now draw. Even before I turn toward you,
I am
consumed.
My
very soul, inflamed with unconstrained phantasms.
I turn my head slightly, as I breathe
in the scent of you now moving toward me. I turn slowly towards you and your arms reach
out for me. Slowly, softly you draw me closer, absorbing all of me in your arms. I feel as
though I am floating spellbound, intoxicated by
the very touch of you.
Our
eyes meet and lock together like an unwavering
addiction. Our souls connect and copulate
as destiny commands them . Fully aware,
that once our lips touch, our love for one another will be
unleashed upon our bodies, unbridled and totally unremitting.
Mourning Cry
You just left me there, all alone.
You gave no explanation you gave no warning,
Fourteen years and I am still in mourning.
You made your choice and gave me no say,
You just left me there and went on your way.
It was at your funeral that I found out why,
What you did and why the lie.
I was too young to be a widow, you said.
This I find out after you are dead.
You had no right to make that choice,
You gave me no say, you gave me no voice.
Together we could have been, for three more years.
Now all I am left with are these memories and tears.
