About the Book
This book is a genealogical and historical account of the Gamache family from 1565 in France to the present day in the United States. Ten generations are listed. Among the Gamache family accomplishments are the founding of Cap St. Ignace, Quebec, Canada and the founding of St. Louis, Missouri.
About the Author
Jerry Gamache is internationally acclaimed author, researcher, lecturer, educator, and scientist. He hold a Ph. D. from Old Dominion University and has two honorary doctorates. He is the author of seven books and retired from university teaching after 30 years. For ten years he led an international team of researchers in Ukraine investigating the Chernobyl accident. He was named one of the top 2000 scientists of the 20th century, distinguished alumni of Old Dominion University, and won the 2006 Nelson Butters award for research contributions to clinical neuropsychology. In retirement he has devoted his energy to genealogical research and community theatre.
