About the Book

I have written Poetry for as long as I can remember.  I started writing as a release from bad situations growing up. Then, after my son was born,  I found that "Better Place" within myself and the world of writing opened up my heart and my soul. This book has no specific genre of poetry..I write what I write. There is alot of happiness, sadness, anger and quite alot of humor. I wrote in ways I haven't before, which  to me makes it that much more personal and interesting .... Please, Enjoy!!    

About the Author

About me... that's a tough one.  I have trouble talking about myself, after all, I am "My own worst critic!"  This is why I am so very passionate about poetry.  It is how I best express myself.

This will be my second publication, although I believe this one is a more passionate and exciting extension of myself.  I dug a bit deeper within my creative and imaginative mind with this book.

I have my first book, as well as a few single publications.  I mentor young writers, I have been an administrator and moderator on a poetry site.

I am simply an author of poetry.  I challenge myself in creative ways, writing in styles I have never tried as well as the classic structured poems.

I write because I love to.  To share with others is a feeling like no other, an exhilarating experience.  I am not out to be famous.  Hopefully, something I have penned will touch a heart and soul..... to me, that's gratification.
