About the Book

This romantic rouse crosses the Pond from Ireland to America.  It's 1985.  Rich American Businessman Bradford Thompson is at Dublin's Trinity College to interpret the message of The Book of Kells.  When he collides with Mary Grace Clooney, she turnes his world upside down and inside out.  A twist of fate?  Perhaps.  Bradford, enraptured with the young girls's Irish seductiveness, needs to bring Mary Grace to America as his mistress. But Mary Grace has a secret scheme of her own...  Has Bradford fallen into her trap?  This Dublin game player is blessed with gypsy power, clever allies, and the guidance of her Grandmum Clooney, who spouts Irish wit and Irish warnings.

When Mary Grace threatens Bradford's world, the game turns vicious.  These prime players will stop at nothing to triumph.  But alas!  There can only be one winner left dancing!

About the Author

Helen M. Struble earned her Doctorate in Education from Seton Hall Univesity, South Orange, NJ.  Dr. Struble, an Educational Consultant, has taught Gifted & Talented classes for grades K-12,  and Reading/Writing classes at the college level.  Having an innate passion for words, Dr. Struble loves to spend time creating short stories and writing poetry (both with a touch of the bizarre).  In addition to writing articles for educational publications, she most recently co-authored a medieval work of fiction,  First Light, Published by AuthorHouse 2005.  (Historically, this novel is one of the first works written by identical twins.)

Dr. Struble prides herself in being a first generation American.  She has a keen interest in her Irish mother's heritage, in Irish wit and wisdom... and in traveling to Ireland to get her "facts" straight.  In Don't Dance in a Small Boat, this author analyzes many Irish Proverbs and Irish saying.... but when you read this intriging story, she warns, "Keep the wind at your back!"
