Baths in a big tub
Daddy's precious love
Age 9 I remember running round Granny's yard
Life was easy
Then things got hard
Age 13 I was pregnant with my stepfather's child
Distant memories
Running wild
Age 17 I remember wanting to die
Believing in a God
Endless tears to cry
At 20, I had the shock of my life
I became a mother
I was already a wife
At 30 life gave me reason to live
I had two children
I had a lot to give
Here I am at 37

I found my heaven

Naked Soul is the first of many offerings. It is a collections of poetry, thoughts and darings that invite the reader to explore new ways of being. I share this work with the world to demonstrate my striving, my overcoming, my evolving in hopes that my Naked Soul will touch yours. Enjoy the intimacy and allow yourself the gift of inspiration.
About the Author
Remembering is one of the many gifts I receive from writing. I have always wanted to touch the masses. Make people think and feel things that they normally did not allow. The bravest thing that we can do as humans is to allow the gifts of the divine. I hope that Naked Soul inspires you to daring, encourages you to act and brings forth your secret longings.
I am a mother, wife, friend, business owner, daughter, dreamer. I play many roles on my stage. I was born in Guyana, South America, grew up in New Jersey, reborn in California and now live in New York. My favorite things are reading, writing, learning, and cooking. I love to cook. I am blessed with great relationships, amazing friendships, and wonderful love stories. My children are my angels. When they were growing up I lived in the question: Am I the woman I want my daughter to become, am I the woman I want my son to marry? I cared what people thought about me until I discovered that question and then they didn't matter and I did what I wanted to harming none.
