About the Book

Have you ever known anyone that has either experienced cancer firsthand or been a caretaker? Chances are the answer to that is yes, and it has become painfully clear to me that at least one in every three individuals that you encounter will have an experience story to share of someone that they have known or cared about. The families that you will read about in this book are examples of touching raw emotion that exacerbates when this diagnosis occurs. The hope of each who has contributed to this book is that it will bridge the gap of communication for the patient and their families and friends. Always remember it is not in the destination but in the journey.

About the Author

Pamela Tarr is the President/CEO of Tarr & Associates Insurance, Inc. She has earned several professional recognition awards in the business industry. Pam is currently serving in leadership positions within her church as well as her community. She is an ordinary woman that was thrown into a vortex of extraordinary circumstances and has a desire to be a voice for those individuals that have experienced a journey through cancer, be it the patient or the caretakers. The next book is currently in process of being compiled. As long as individuals are experiencing cancer there will always be a need to allow those involved with that journey to tell their stories. Pamela, and her family live in Florida.
