I looked away from the angel and back down at my three-year-old body lying virtually lifeless under the large oak tree in our front yard. The grass had grown almost as tall as I was that summer, and I could see my mother frantically searching the dense strands of grass, calling my name as she searched. Her voice seemed to fade away as I looked back toward the angel, who began to sing with me softly.
Finally reaching the tree, my mother knelt down and lifted me from the ground in one sure motion as she turned, calling for my father. The song of the angel faded in my ears and was replaced by my mother’s pleas to God for help—I knew he would listen.
I had wandered into the yard after finding my aunt’s pills on the coffee table. They looked pretty, like candy, and I had swallowed almost the entire prescription with the exception of a few that fell to the floor, a fortunate indication of what I had done. That many pills were more than enough to carry me into the darkness, and then into the light, where the angel had been waiting for me. I wasn’t afraid.
By the time my parents ran to a neighbor’s home, borrowed a car and drove me into town to the doctor’s office, I had stopped breathing and began turning blue. The doctor said I had escaped death by a few short seconds. After having my stomach pumped and a three-day hospital stay my parents took me home…and that was the beginning of a long journey filled with hope, faith, angels, demons, intrigue, betrayal and always the will to survive in a world that I no longer trusted.

the right decision.
Lisa is currently living in Southern Oregon, writing her next
book and creating an online art gallery. Music continues to be an important
transformational tool for Lisa, and she is in the process of composing a theatrical
soundtrack for the future Flashback Artist screenplay. Lisa L. Everly – An inspiration
Neither scholar nor theologian, Lisa L. Everly simply shares the truths she has been witness
to her entire life.
Guided by God and angels, her spiritual journey conveys a message of hope and healing
for all who have stood in the crossfire of the never-ending struggle between good and evil.
Since the age of three, Lisa has been in the presence of angels and demons.
Angels have called on her to help stop crimes, save lives and assist those struggling with
hardships, addiction and hopelessness.
While helping others, Lisa has had her own tremendous hardships. As a survivor of child
abuse, rape, hate crimes, a dysfunctional family.
Lisa does not include explicit details in her writing but rather focuses on survival and healing
Before she turned sixteen, Lisa and her family moved more than 79 times. Disruptions to her
life and education were extensive, but she managed to make the best of her life by using
music, photography and her own artwork as a healing tool. Lisas plan would include showing
and selling her artwork, opening a photography studio and interviewing on The Voice. Since
90 percent of her readers have made comments that Lisas story would be great on the big
screen, because her life story is truly amazing and should be shared with the world, she says
there are some things she holds back because one of her experiences let her to see something
she knows no one has witnessed as she was lead by an Angel of God and actually used her
new camera to photograph the experience. It was then when Lisa fell in love with photography
and as most things she self taught herself since 2009 to become a photographer. 2011 she
flew to Maui where she landed her first paid job as a photographer and shot over 800 family,
couple and wedding shoots. Lisas artwork has got to be some of the greatest and unusual
artwork I have personally ever seen. It is agreed by all who have seen her work, that a book
signing with an art show would truly benefit this gifted soul.
