About the Book

'MIDNIGHT CHAMBERS & CRYSTAL BALLROOMS', a collection of dark poetry and articles, explores a range of human emotions as felt and experienced from one person's standpoint, at once chilling and macabre, yet with elements of beauty and passion taken directly from the soul.

Feelings freely expressed are stated honestly and unapologetically and, for better or worse, take no prisoners. This compilation in many ways speaks outward, within the areas of darkness seeking to provide the light of hope and inspiration for others, the intention from one human being reaching out to clearly say: "You are not alone". Product of over one year's output on the highly-successful American website 'Vampire Rave' (www.vampirerave.com), here is contained evocative Gothic poetry with a strong Sixties slant, which is at various times hard, open, loving and immediate. A sock in the guts to the fragile strains of ghostly harpsichord. Welcome to 'MIDNIGHT CHAMBERS & CRYSTAL BALLROOMS'. Enter of your own volition, thrill and chill to the Dark Dance...

About the Author

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Adrian Francis Fox was born in June 1960 in Calverton, Nottinghamshire, England, grew up and lived in Ilford, Essex, for many years, writing from a very early age. Seriously composing from 18 years of age, the author developed the taste for Dark Romance and Horror, also strongly drawn toward poetry writing, examples of his work to be seen via the 'Vampire Rave', 'Jamfan.net' and 'Gothic Revue Magazine' websites.

The author's approach is dark, overall, containing a sensitive core which is at times poetical, seeking to both provide inspiration and even to warn, his love of contemporary post-war musics and styles often reflected within the framework of his poems and stories, especially.

Adrian Francis Fox is the rider and owner of a classic 1963 Lambretta LI Series III (Gothic Mod Custom) scooter, an enduring deep interest and affection for the 1960's colouring much of his literary output. In essence a romantic soul, with a distinct love of The Night.
