Brainwashed* and Miracles**

About the Book

No rational mind - given the evidence of buttons and buttonholes in an article of clothing - would deny that both "intelligence" and "design" played roles in the fabrication of such a garment, but - mystery of mysteries - the brightest and most educated in our culture, reject such considerations for all the infinitely more complex living organisms, insisting (dogmatically) that they somehow "evolved" by haphazard, sequential, random mutations.

      A challenge is therefore, proposed - to anyone anti-"Intelligent Designer", who believes he has not been "brain-washed", but who has at least a "hair-line crack" to open-mindedness - to refute the material herein - the non-factuality and astronomical improbabilities of pure random-chance-mutations of individual elements (among the multi-billions in the DNA helix) as a credible belief system in explaining:

ü      the spider, butterfly, or bacterium flagellum (Pajaro Dunes Micro-Biology Conference – scientists challenging Darwinism);

ü      male-female sexuality feelings: irresistible sex-drive before; gratification after - evoking propagation and proliferation of mammalian species;

ü      the (simple, yet ever so complex) umbilical cord concept for mammals - from kittens to humans?

      This book is a scholarly review (in layman terms) of all pertinent aspects of Science versus Bible in all applicable fields: Archaeology, Astronomy, Biology, Cosmology, Egyptology, Paleontology, Physics, etc., with over 300 references to the arcane writings of world-class scientists, historians, mathematicians and adventurers.  

About the Author

       Author Kolom, while nota PhD in any of the subject fields qualifies as a "rocket scientist" from career and academic achievements in aerospace engineering; NASA medal and award recipient in 1982 for Space Shuttle's first three orbital flights - Asst. Chief Engineer, Rockwell Intl. Corp.   This book is the result of over a decade of research on the various ssubjects.           

       To secular elitists who ridicule "creationism" with a smug, dismissive mind-set, who believe that Darwinism is proven fact and a Creator-concept childish; who have heard of the Big Bang and Einsteinian time-dilation physics but don't realize how closely both support the words of Genesis – this is an endeavor to rationalize calm "judgments" re "unprovables": was there a Creator; is our Earth unique; did the miracles of the Bible occur – using scientific fact, mathematical probabilities and reason.   The writings of many pro-Darwin scientists are even cited - to show they cannot prove what their advocates claim.

      This book also challenges "faith"-less Jews (including some of the rabbinate) who accept a "Sea of Reeds" (dismissing King Solomon's "Yam Suph"); who ignore maps that locate ancient Midian (and Mount Horeb/Sinai) east (not west) of the Gulf of Aqaba; and who shrug off seeming "miracles" during the Exodus.  

       Corroboration of biblical historicity is presented with startling discoveries from adventurous expeditions in mountain-climbing and deep-sea diving.   Two surprising theories about the famous Egyptian Imhotep and biblical Joseph, and the magnificent tomb of "boy-king Tut" – both supportive of biblical text – are confirmed by ancient Egyptian artifacts.
