About the Book

This is the true and emotional story about a son's bravery as seen from his parents eyes.

Our son was diagnosed with scoliosis (curved spine) from an early age. This is the journey we all took over the last six years. The pain we all went through, especially our son, in having to cope with over ten major spinal operations.

Being one of the strangest cases the surgeon has came across, in all his twenty years of performing corrective surgery.

About the Author

I am one of seven children. Our mother brought us all up by herself. It was a struggle for her but she did her best and we had a happy childhood. We are very proud of our mother and love her dearly.

I left home at 16 and worked at various jobs. I met my wife when I was 20, and we started a family together. Our first daughter started having seizures when she was young, but luckily she grew out of them. We have been together 22 years now, and have five children together. One of our sons was born three months early and has cerebral palsy, but he's doing well now and has started college. One of our other sons has had a terrible time over the last six years, and this story is about the operations he's had to go through. This is our true story telling  the day to day account of what we all went through, especially our ten year old son, who we love so much, as we do all our children. This is my first time at writing any sort of story, but we think it is such an emotional story, that it should be told, and it is all true.
