You Were Born for Greatness

In this book you will discover the eight keys to greatness. I believe every person ever born is born for greatness!  If you are done seeking and are satisfied with your current life, I urge you to put this book down, it is not for you.  But if you believe there is more to you than has been seen, felt, known or even lived, then keep reading.  This book will stir you, prod you and perhaps even provoke you.

You were born to live a life of greatness.  Yes, I said you!

You might think that your birth was either a result of careful planning by your parents or even an accident but both of these conclusions are incorrect.  Before you were conceived, the Creator of the world had set the time for your arrival.  You are on this earth by Divine commission.  Furthermore, you were placed here for a purpose greater than you might imagine. 

I believe that every person was placed here to live and fill their days with excitement and passion while fulfilling their purpose.  So many people say “I don’t know why I’m here” or ask “Why was I ever born?”  Don’t fret, I have the answer!  You are here to live a life of greatness, a life beyond limits and a life full of the extraordinary.

Let us first define greatness since it will be a main theme in this book and also in your life.  Being “great” according to Webster’s dictionary, is “much above the ordinary or average in some quality or degree.” Webster also says being great is, “existence in a high degree; intense.” I like to think of greatness as “exceedingly abundantly above” (Ephesians 3:20)

Now let me reveal to you what it is not; Greatness is not necessarily being recognized as a celebrity or a famous sports figure.  It is much bigger than fame.  Truly great people are living their lives through a “higher calling.”  Something that is bigger than what the world calls “great”. I am talking about reaching and living the potential and purpose I believe every person is born with.
