Many scriptures in the Bible reveal a medical/spiritual connection in the Believer. Day after day, all types of feelings, behavior and physical pain challenges us and based on these occurances, there are time when we question our Salvation and even our sanity!
Satan attacks the Believer's mind psychologically through the thought process from the moment he wakes up in the morning. His choice of weapon may be thoughts of fear of a pending financial catastrophe, jealousy over the next-door neighbor's new car, anger arising from an unresolved conflect at work or lust for someone or something that does not belong to him.
Whatever the case, Satan's objective is to dominate and control the Believer's life and to do this, he uses the physical body's normal Brain functions in his plan.
The Human Brain and how it functions is a mystery to scientists and to those of us who are not in the medical field but it is very important to the Believer that he understand some of it's functions. Learning about his physical body will help him receive a "deeper revelation" of God and experience the power of His Word.
Scientist have done intense studies of the brain and have found connections to the psychological part of man but with all their research and discoveries, they have not been able to explain the Brain's spiritual significance nor can they heal it.
In Chapter 6 of Ephesians, the Believer is admonished to "put on the whole armour of God" to be able to stand and resist the devil. Armour is a protective suit that is worn to shield the physical body from harm.
Through Apostle Paul's ministry, the Body of Christ received many revelations about Satan's tactics and modes of operation and through them, we can see where his targets are. Apostle Paul put special emphasis on the physical body to teach spiritual principles.
In the Book of Psalms, David also made many references to physical body functions like the senses of Taste and Sight to express his heart or feelings to deliver his messages to the reader.
The more I learned about my physical body, it became obvious to me that for me to "grow" spiritually, I would have to connect my spiritual knowledge to some specific scientific facts. Not only did I need to "search the scriptures", but I needed to learn how my physical body operated and incorporate this "knowledge" in my Spiritual Life!
........ In the beginning, Man had fellowship and communion with God, the Human Body functioned properly and everything was good, but Satan had a plan!
Satan knew from his own experience that disobedience would cause Man to lose his place with God, so he initiated a "plan" of attack to sever the relationship between Adam and God.
When a thief wants to steal from your house, he has to get "inside" to take what he wants. When Satan rebelled against God, he was cast down from heaven and no longer held the position he once had.
Now, he was after the Man God created to take his place. He wanted to interfere with the "fellowship" and "communion" between Adam and God and to do that he would need an open door and Eve's mind was the door.....

"Lord, what is wrong with me? I'm faithful to Church, I give my Tithes and Offerings, I pray, fast and read my Bible but I'm still not getting the results that Pastor Do-Right and Evangelist Get-Right said I would have. You told me to love my neighbor as myself, but I can't love my neighbor because I don't love myself!"
II Corinthians 5:17 says, "If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new". Well if "all" things are new, why am I still having problems with the same old feelings and attitudes?
When I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, the Church didn't realize that it was just as important for the Believer to be taught about his "body" as it was to be taught about his "soul" and "spirit".
As a result, many Believers are attacked mentally and physically and there is no REAL peace or joy in their lives because he does not understand what is going on inside of him! He is ignorant of the fact that Satan is constantly using his brain chemistry, hormones and normal brain functions in his "subversive" plan of attack to "rob" him and "undermine" the Word of God in his life.
This book "bridges the gap" between the physical and spiritual life of the Believer and reveals some important physiological "truths" that will impact his life and "make him free" Medically Speaking!
About the Author
As a child, Gwendolyn Cromer was fascinated by the plastic transparancies of the Human Body that were in the H Volume of her World Book Encyclopedia.
For many years, she thumbed through that book, too young to appreciate the "Creation" miracle that medical science had captured on the pages of her encyclopedia but she was destined to learn that the Lord intended to use this varacious interest in the Human Body for His Glory!
Gwendolyn Cromer is an Evangelist and a Teacher. She is a "modern-day" Mary, who has been honored with the priviledge of "sitting at the feet of Jesus" to learn through the Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
She was born in Brownsville, Tn., raised in Washington, DC but was led of the Lord to return to Tennessee in 1984 to embark on a "journey" that was to take her right into the "heart" of an amazing "revelation".
