About the Book

"B Trae'd, is a book of poetry from my life experiences and the experiences of others.  Two years in the making, I've tried to capture the feelings and emotions endured by anyone who has been involved in a relationship...good or bad.  You'll laugh, you'll smile, you may even get mad as you identify with many of the poems.  Reading my work, I hope that you'll  appreciate all of the emotions that life and love presents us all.  When you have completed the book, you'll be happy, and encouraged.  You will BE...TRAE'd 

About the Author

Born in Cleveland Ohio, Trae graduated from Shaker Heights High.  Although she lost both of her parents before the age of 15, she was destined to be successful.  She joined the United States Air Force and has been proudly serving her country for 22 years.  Enamored by poetry, Trae began writing poetry seriously about 4 years ago while stationed at Incirlik Air Base Turkey.  Inspired by a very close friend,  who is also a poet; she was propelled to pursue her dream of becoming an author.  B Trae’d, is her first book.  Often asked why she chose this title, she explains that she doesn’t mean “betrayed” in the sense that someone hurt her, although some of her writings may suggest otherwise.  She insists that the title “B Trae’d” suggests that once you have read her works, you’ll find yourself encapsulated in her style of poetry and you too, will be, Trae’d!  She ultimately desires to express her innate love for children by authoring children’s books. 

Happily single, she enjoys serving God, sports, and children.  She desires to one day have the opportunity to give motivational speeches.  Trae's hope is to inspire others to always pursue their dreams, regardless of the obstacles before them!  She believes “If God be for her…Who can be against her,” Nobody!!
