Corrine looked at her sisters kind of sheepishly, almost as though she were just waking up from a dream. She felt lighter and more keenly aware of her surroundings than she had ever felt before. Part of her could still not believe the experience she had just had with the Angel of the Lord, but her spirit leaped inside of her, and she had a knowing that what she just encountered was more real than anything she had ever experienced.
“Are you okay?” Kara asked her twin. “You look a little different.” Kara couldn’t quite explain how her twin looked different, but she did. Maybe it was the way the sunlight caught her face at that particular moment-it was almost like a glowing, or radiance that Corrine had not had before.
“I’m fine, but I do feel different. I can’t explain it; there aren’t words to describe it, just different.” Corrine felt a bit frustrated in her inability to accurately convey this new and different feeling to her sisters.
“Come on,” Casey said suddenly, “We’re going to be late. We just need to make sure that we are all in agreement that we aren’t going to tell ANYONE-no matter how badly you two may want to share this. I don’t really talk to anyone anyway, so it won’t be a problem for me. Do we agree?”
