            The Life In This Pen introduces you to a young man’s ocean, and it’s uncontrollable waves, crashing against the shores of innermost thoughts.  The turbulent years of a teenager, told through emotionally fueled poetry.  Experience a four-year journey of self-discovery, love, joy, and heartache.           

A poetry book of its own, The Life In This Pen is a strong declaration to the world, shedding light on it’s perceptive youth, and their awareness of society’s impositions.  Found within this collection, are the very essences that render us all human.  So un-anchor your ship, and ride the tide inward. 

About the Author

The Life In This Pen, finished nearly five years ago, has finally come to light.  Since then, much has changed in regards to my mentality.  Two books have emerged in its wake: My Love Shall Seep…, and Through Blue.  While the books that follow, closer represent who I am now, it was The Life In This Pen that led the way.  Together, these writings show a progression of character through the grace of time.

          We live in a very complex and busy world, and it is in poetry that I’ve been able to make sense of it all.  I hope that you will come to appreciate these poems as much as I have.  Some may present extreme ideas, but please know that not one was composed without serious contemplation. 

          With God-driven purpose and positive intentions, dreams can reach their full, active potential.  Let us live this life not for the mere years to follow, but for the eternity that awaits us.
