Grasp upon the enigma concealed in your reflection,
Now generations are maimed, and civilization pecking at the thrones of kings,
For you are my daughter and the reason I exist
I am drenched with your sorrow
For i see a person capable of greatness
Embraced and enveloped in a shell that craves corruption
They peer into the many facades i horridly embrace
With no shield I will love you, and drift with you to the other side of tomorrow
Only God can set us free
They spat at your complexion and compelled you to be illiterate
I yearned to cares the beauty of your countenance, yet you fleeted from my every whim, still I persisted with the unknown vigor
she promised me everything you abducted from me, in which you are my poison on a dark dreary day, she is my calm, tranqulity, and love, I knew her once, and her romance was red as a blossoming rose
I repaetedly begged for my demise, i was only pleading for your awareness, for in your eyes i have always been the stain of your window pain
I am tryibg to savor your love as I've become a vagbond wandering through the realms of your passion, searching for an array of jewels to present to you as a token of my gratitude
Children wallowing in dirt hoping that food or drink may appear, but to their sorrow only their loss of weight and stench comes to stare fiercely in their eyes, perusing their hearts
That you were stupid as the seed of David and you were no more than an ape or an inferior being who would always be inclined to failure or crash flights

About the Book
This book I would hope would open the minds of alot of people who refuse to accept the greatness of the afro- american, and all those who climb from the bottom, and want to be recognize for their glory and not their short comings.In the mist of this day i want people to know they can achieve anything they set out to achieve, and don't let no one tell you different. When putting these poems together my theme was for us to rise as people and stop killing one another and start helping one another, for now is the time to rise, for tomorrow may overcome your true radiance!
About the Author
Born January 30,1970 to Dianne and Robert, though Kennard would be the man I would know as dad, for i haven't seen robert since I was 2 years old, I faced alot of adversities growing up, yet still I persavered to succeed. I would later have 4 children (jessica, shawn 2, shanae, and shanel), whom i married their mother, and would re -marry to mashell whom had seven children(mondraye,antonio,shantel,keyina,byron,oniesha,ronnie). I have been writting since 1987 when a teacher of mine suggested I had talent and should persue it, also i won several boxing championships, would graduate several schools, and would learn fields ranging from automotive technology to journalism and short story writting with lots of other fields in between, still I am climbing trying to be successful. In the end I want to do alot for mankind!
