Ayo's Love

Her was Lyon and all her life, she wanted to be loved. For as a child she never felt loved. She never saw love between her parents. They separated when she was a child. She always hoped that they would get back together, but it would never happen. She felt that at one time her parents’ loved each other but she knew that they didn’t anymore.

When she was born, her mother named her Lyon, after a friend she had known. Lyon never liked that name. It didn’t have meaning to her but  because she loved her mother, she would never change it. After all her mother gave her the name. Lyon often that about her name and how she wished that she had a special name with a special love. She wanted so much in her life. She wanted joy ,happiness and real love. She had often hoped to find that wonderful something and that special someone.

Because of her parents, Lyon wanted someone to love her so much that they would never leave her and she wanted someone to take all of her pain away. Most of all, she wanted someone that she could love.

Her first love was the love that she felt for God. She always thought that she would be a preacher’s wife. She wanted to be treated good and kind. A preacher’s wife was respected by everyone.

Her second love would be her uncle. She loved him like a father and she always wanted to find someone like him. She wanted to find someone to give her confidence to be all that she could be. Her image of the man she was going to marry changed over the years.

 Her first love ,with a guy, would be innocent and loving. No matter what anybody said, it would be real. The guy would have a name like hers but it would start with a “D” and her first love would be a forbidden one. She was told that they were distant relatives and that they couldn’t be more than that. But what others didn’t know was….that it was love at first sight. Once Lyon saw him, it was love. She met him at a church and in an instant she fell in love. At first he didn’t notice her but it didn’t take him long to see her and fall in love. She gave him the name Poochy, which he hated. Now she wasn’t allowed to date him. So, most of the time they met at church. They would always go to the church nursery and talk. It was there that they had their first kiss.

 On a Sunday night, On September the ninth, they had made arrangements to meet in the nursery. They would meet up after the church offering. As everybody walked around the offering table, they left to the nursery. That’s where they kissed for the first time. When Poochy kissed her, she felt nervous and cold but she loved his soft lips. From that moment they kissed  a lot. Mostly, in church, their lips touched. It was innocent love. They couldn’t help their selves because it was so much love. There were so much love in their hearts. One day they got caught kissing but they didn’t care.

Poochy would be her first for everything. She trusted him enough to give him the most precious part of her .She would give him herself. She would give him her body and soul. She skipped school for the first time to be with him. She would go to his house.

On a cold day in March, she gave all that she had to him. She went to his house to see him. She knocked on the door and he opened it. He let her in and when she got into his house, she looked into his eyes and told him that on that day they would be closer than they had ever been. She was nervous and frighten but he promised her that he would be gentle. She knew what they were about to do was a sin but she wanted to be apart of him. She asked him to give her a little time to herself. She wanted to get ready. He didn’t know what she was going to do to get ready but he knew he had to let her do what was right. So Lyon went into the bathroom and there she talked to God. As he waited for her patiently, she prayed to God for forgiveness. For at that time in her life she felt that she had found love. Her love for Poochy was greater than her love for anything else.

She got down on her knees and said“God I know it is a sin to make love to someone without being married, but I love him. My love for him is real and God , I ask that you forgive me for what I am about to do….Lyon felt that God  understood . She believed he would forgive her because God knew what was in her heart.

She got up off of her knees and then she came out of the bathroom. She climbed up under the sheets and  she took off her clothes. Poochy did like he said, he was gentle,  It felt like a feather ,as he touched her. He was like a silk sheet as they made love.After they were done, she got dressed and then they hugged each other good-bye.

That night, Lyon wrote in her Bible that on March ninth, her and Poochy made love and to her it was soft, gentle and beautiful.
