About the Book

About the Author

Nancy Conley Burke holds a B.S. in nursing and a master’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in Chicago.  She has written and facilitated spiritual programs for Christian women’s groups for the past twenty years.  Since early 1997, Nancy has traveled extensively on her never-ending quest to find and pay homage to the sacred in our world.  Her journeys have included trips to the Hindu and Buddhist traditions of Nepal and Tibet.  Recent expeditions to Guatemala and Peru afforded her the opportunity to explore the wealth of the Mayan and Incan cultures.  When she’s not traveling, Nancy shares her time between Chicago and at the beach in North Carolina with her husband, Dennis, and their dog, Sam-I-Am.
