How Do I Find Heaven?
I've searched every map and couldn't find it,
Was I looking in the wrong place or does the devil have me blinded?
How Do I find Heaven? Is it not time for me to see,
And is this old sin filled world the place for me,
I'm not talking for just right now,
I'm ready to change my life because I have to find heaven somehow,
Lord please give me a vision so I can make the world and myself right,
I'm willing to work hard for this Lord because I know I can't change it overnight,
How Do I Find Heaven? Do I need to read more of your word,
And listen harder to the preacher and make sure everything is heard,
How Do I Find Heaven? Lord please give me a clue,
I tried it my way plenty of times now Lord I'm asking you,
To come guide me, and carry me in the times when I'm weak,
I want to do as you say Lord lead me I'm your sheep,
I want you in my life Lord please come and take control,
Of my body, my heart,
My mind, Lord even my soul,
I don't want to just talk about it I want to be about it so the whole world can see,
That Impossible is Nothing through you Lord when they look at me,
Whether I work at Fed Ex, Acxiom, or maybe you want me to be a reverend,
I just want to help save people and figure out How to Find Heaven!!!

A journey through life from my point of view,
Maybe good maybe bad regardless it's all true,
No areas will be left out; all will be brought to light,
Read carefully and think deeply, so you can interpret this right,
Some of you may think you know me; however none of you can,
Because I'm a shell of my former self, a totally new man,
My former initials are DP, what they stand for some may question,
Different Person is the answer, God made that suggestion,
Refer to me as you will, your description may or may not come close,
Whether you're right or wrong, I only answer to The Ghost…,
Heaven is my Destiny, come with me if that's where you want to go
and take this ride,
The devil points, God watches over us as we take

This is an autobiography with a poetic twist. This book was written to not only inform you about my life, but to also inform you about things that go on in the world that I have issues with. Take into account that I am human, so YES I have made mistakes. Although some of the things that I’ve done weren’t right, I’m not ashamed of any of them because they’ve taught me life lessons! You live, you learn, and hopefully you change the things that you need to change for you to live right. So before you pass judgment on me and my life, remember that the Bible says, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone (John 8:7 King James Version).” Please remember that no matter your situation, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me (Philippians 4:13 King James Version).” Thanks you for your mind and the time that you spent reading this book and sharing my life.
