Second Life Turn

I can remember a man, my father, he has been with me through out most of my adolescent life. I have respected him always. He's a man of many rules, and regulations. He believes only in what's right, this man my father it makes him unique, because he believes in agreement with white and black, that respect goes a long way. To become someone is something always seen in the eye of a man. My resistance of that of any man would be impossible to not love this man. I was born in the south of Missouri to my mother and father Mr. and Mrs Smith. I thought it was the greatest thing that could have happen as a child, till after living with the both of them, and experiencing what a child would have to go through. Going back for as I can remember. When I was six years old and my sister Lo... Lolita being seven, I can remember hearing the screaming, fighting, and crying that my mother was doing and the drinking and partying that lead to the fights almost every night. It was horrible being dragged out of bed in the late hours of the night. All I could hear was my mother saying, "get up baby, get dressed and off we where over to my grandmothers house. This was the safe place for us. Granny's house was where we stayed for days that seemed like years. It was fear to be awakened with a shake of a hand in the middle of the night. I'll have to say it was my dad and his drinking. I never knew where she was I almost thought her mom Maggie was my mother, whom I enjoyed living with. She was nice and there were always fun things to do at her home. Inside we girls would be placed down on the carpet with a napkin and corn curls on the floor, where we would then watch Hee-haw on the television set or we would be off it the back yard of the apartments playing in the play ground. Grandma's house was always spotless.
