About the Book

The poetry within this book is an epitaph of love and friendship. The simplicity of these poems are reflections of people, current events and history. Poetry of hope and written with insight. I hope you enjoy the read.

About the Author

I've worked in construction in one form or another my whole life .I reside in Ontario, Canada. However, my greatest achievements have been in the volunteer area of life.

In 1981, I volunteered my services to Canada Mortgage and Housing for the construction of a therapy room under the Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program. This was for a young boy with cerebral palsy. For this I received an order-in-council. Also in 1981, I became an independent medical escort for the Shriners, or as they called me, a go-between. I did this for fifteen years. Now, on a personal note, I would like to say I have nothing but respect and admiration for the Shriners. They truly are an amazing organization.

In 1982, I became a member of a parent advocacy group called Our Special Children and was an active member for ten years. Through this group, I served as a special education advisor for three years in our local community.

I wrote one poem when I was twelve years old and it's called “Love is Like A Dream.” I did not resume writing poetry till two and a half years ago. In 2005, I became a distinguished member of The International Society of Poets and I have had two poems released through them .These poems are “The Enchantress” and “First Kiss.” I also received their Editors’ Choice Award.

In 2006, I was requested by Noble House, which is in England, to submit a poem for worldwide publication. I sent them “Stargazing.”
