School

To school kids everywhere in life, there’s 2 paths you can choose

One path leads to life’s success, the other to bad news

There’s always showoffs in the class, clowns disrupting flow

Trying to hold others back, so they can be the show,

Clueless yea, I‘d say they are, so blind of what will be

They think their act will last forever, till they finally see

That when the final school bell rings, and they walk out the door

Suddenly their crowd is gone, they’re center stage no more,

There’s no one left, to impress, no pranks to pull each day

From here on out it’s make or break, cause life don’t go away

And to those kids who carried books, the ones the clown would tease

Who set their goals and sought success, in credentials like degrees,

They’re the ones who chose the path, and stuck it out in school

They’re the ones at an early age, who said “I’ll be no fool”

They’re the ones who don’t seek face, for they know who they are

The clown in class now scans the skies, still searching for his star,

So to you school kids everywhere, there’s 2 paths you can choose

One path leads to life’s success, the other to bad news

So pay attention, study books, abide by every rule

Don’t worry bout who you impress, or if your actin cool,

For little do ya know right now, the world it waits for you

A hardened world that’ll eat ya up, if your not prepared, it’s true

Education is everything, your LIFE begins in school

So ask yourself, which one you‘ll be, the student or the fool ?
