About the Book

“Journey to the Arks-A Mission to Save Humanity” was written for a general audience of all ages. Although labeled science-fiction, it is, as well, an amalgamation of human-interest stories paralleling a Dickensian world-model of intricate relationships and surprising twists. The book’s message is predicated on the notion that, in our world of continuous flux and turmoil, human beings can, if they so choose, seize the opportunity to establish a harmonious world. Guided by inhabitants of a planet so remote in the universe as to evade scientific scrutiny, the host of protagonists comes together, each microcosms of frailty and, at once, limitless potential, to create a unified society of peaceful coexistence. The book is a tribute to humankind’s infinite circle of interconnectedness and our potential to reach beyond the Self, where dreams are made real.

About the Author

Author Deborah Elias is a native-born Pennsylvanian.   A devoted mother of four,  she is a musician, presently working as a private piano teacher to people of all ages.   Ms. Elias’ “Journey to the Arks: A Mission to Save Humanity” proceeds from a long-standing desire to present her vision of our world’s antithesis: a place in which senseless violence, hatred, and greed are replaced by peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.  The book illustrates that such can be accomplished through universal acceptance of that which humans fail to understand or reject outright - and with great personal sacrifice.

Ms. Elias’ collaborator, Gabriella Gafni, has written on topics ranging from from academia to fiction.  The melding of ideas and philosophies with the author made her personal “journey” on the project deeply fulfilling.
