Journey To The Arks

Since time began, human beings have been destructive to themselves and others.  The people of Earth are deadly consumers who never give anything back.  Self-centeredness, greed and lust for power and material wealth cause us to ignore that which has true meaning, such as peace, respect for others, and preservation of the environment.  Instead, we argue about property rights, religion, different ways of thinking, and a host of other considerations.  Divisions in humanity lead to endless wars, starvation, annihilation, nuclear waste proliferation and depletion of resources.  If we objectified ourselves and looked from the outside in, what would we see? Have we ever thought to look outward and upward beyond ourselves, to other worlds?

The entities on such planets are often called “aliens,” imagined to be bobble-headed, bug-eyed inhabitants of unidentified submerged or flying objects.  We envision them systematically swooping down to dominate the Earth, for reasons known to them alone.  Having the ability to think and reason, yet of greater wisdom, insight and longevity than we, they have been observing our behavior, not to dominate or destroy us but, rather, to demonstrate similarities in the way we think and behave, so as to elevate us.  If we listen, perhaps we can evolve.  The truth will, finally, be told, not by scientists, astrologers, or astronauts, but by the very beings themselves. Those who believe that we exist alone in the universe are given to excessive pride and arrogance, creators of their own tragic flaws.  “The Earth Chronicles,” as formulated by “aliens” of a planet called “PAX,” speak to these issues, enabling them to decide whether or not to communicate with us in earnest. 

In the following pages, perhaps our fears of aliens will subside and give way to a whole new set of fears.  In our meeting with our galactic neighbors (possibly one of the most important encounters in our lives), we may set aside our differences, at last, and take an unconditional plunge into unknown experiences to save ourselves.  The teachers whose voices we have ignored are channels to a deeper understanding of peace, harmony and, potentially, a new Beginning.
