About the Author

Sharmen Lane is an inspirational writer, speaker and life coach.  She has been a student of psychology for over 20 years and has trained, managed, and coached thousands of individuals on what it takes to get what one desires.  She is currently completing her degrees in both psychology and communications.  She published her first book, “Why Am I Special,” for preschool age children in February 2006, which is a fully illustrated book that sends the message that all children are special, for no special reason.  She currently has several seminars on her topics of Create Your Fate, The ABC’s to Life, and The 3 C’s to Success. 

She was interviewed for the "America's Leadership Tribute" show produced by Sky Radio Network which will be broadcast on all American Airlines and US Airways flights worldwide starting October 6, 2006.  The interview is to be nationally recognized in Newsweek magazine.
