In his life Tony McCade had seen the best and worst of what life had to offer. From the steamy jungles of Vietnam to the streets of Panama City, McCade had matured from a phantom warrior with MACV-SOG to a highly effective member of America’s first line of national defense, the Central Intelligence Agency. However he thought that life was all behind him.
In a blink of an eye, McCade's life is thrown into complete turmoil. From virtual retirement McCade finds himself thrust into the midst of a nightmare. Events from his past lives, both Vietnam and Panama, reach up to drag him down into the dark world of contract terrorism.
Together with a young woman who he finds himself suddenly partnered, McCade must unravel a plot of mystery, terror and immeasurable danger. He must confront his past in order to prevent even greater disaster in the present. In doing so he comes face-to-face with real what real betrayal is about.
