About the Book
A mother suffers her worst nightmare when her youngest son is accused of a horrible crime that he insists he didn't commit. She spends the next four years trying to find someone or someway to help him prove he is innocent. The journey takes her through the difficult and sometimes impossible task of getting past the clique of the local legal system. She discovers that things she was taught all her life about the way the system works is just not true and struggles to find a way to help her son return to his family. She faces not only this tragedy but others that occur in the family during this very difficult time. Her heart's desire is to find a way to prove her son's innocence and to share her story where others might not make the same mistakes that she feels they made in dealing with a situation of this nature.
About the Author
Beverly was born in Louisville Kentucky but spent most of her time growing up close to where she resides now with her husband of almost forty years, in a rural area north of Nashville Tennessee. Together they have raised two sons. She and her husband both own their own separate businesses but still make plenty of time to enjoy their five grandchildren.
Beverly has always been an avid reader since early childhood when the only library available was in the back of a local country general store where a bookmobile came and swapped out books on monthly basics. Even now as an adult she belongs to two Christian book clubs and enjoys reading every time she gets the chance.
Beverly and her husband are very active in their church. She teaches Sunday School, plays piano & organ, sings in the choir and occasionally solos, drives the church bus on occasion and has worked with the youth for years. She and her husband have always had a strong faith in God and are of the belief that He should always come first in your life.
