Miss Ladybird was busy making new spots for her winter outfit, in her home, which was on the top leaf of the sunflower. All of a sudden she heard the patter of lots of tiny feet. It was her sister, Mrs Ladybird with her babyladies, coming to visit. Mrs Ladybird had called in to see Miss Ladybird to ask her to make her babyladies a new set of spots for the beginning of the school term. It was going to be their first day at school, and Mrs Ladybird wanted them to look their best. Mrs Ladybird had six babyladies.
Miss Ladybird asked if they were going to stay for tea. ‘That would be nice,’ said Mrs. Ladybird. Miss Ladybird started to prepare their tea, and she decided that they would have lavender soup. That was the babyladies’ favourite tea. After tea Miss Ladybird told her sister that she would be pleased to make the outfits for the babyladies but, was worried

About the Book
The Hedge Row stories are unique stories about the funny antics and events that happen to the animals who live within the garden and hedge row.
It also depicts animals lives never seen in this way before, its educational, adventurious, with an underlying humour which will be understood by adults who read to their children or children reading on their own.
This is a series of stories which will continue to grow into books that you will want to collect to read to not only your children but also your grandchildren.
About the Author
My name is Linda, and I was born in London in the 1950's
I have 3 grown up children who are married and have 10 children, between them, so I am a busy grand-mother.
These stories were inspired when I was on holiday in wales, and whilst watching the animals play the stories started to form in my mind. My grandchildren loved them, so I thought why not write about them, and thats how they were first thought off.
I decided to publish them so other children could have the opportunity of enjoying them aswell.
