About the Book
"Grand Women" is a collection of poems celebrating women who are usually not celebrated in our society-- women who do not "fit the thin mode" society so often demands. The poems point out the desirability and sensuality of these women. The poems are a tribute to these women-- grand in size, grand in heart, grand indeed.
The poems are easy to read and easy to understand. The book makes a lovely gift for a loved one, for a friend, for yourself. Men and women alike should open the covers and see what this book suggests about the sensual side of Grand Women.
About the Author
Bob Wicke is a born educator. He taught English, Math, and Philosophy for over twenty-five years. He gives workshops, seminars, classes, speeches, and presentations on a variety of topics including the following: Composing Your Creative Life, Seeing Life as Fun and Games, Team Development, Job Satisfaction, Getting the Fun Out of Your Lousy Job, Life as an Essay, The Grammar Rules of Life, and The Necessity of Communication.
This current volume of poems—“Grand Women”—is his latest published work. He is currently working on a new book of poetry dealing with the differences between men and women in relation to culture, upbringing, needs, desires, expectations.
