About the Book

ANGELS IN WINTER:  A fall on an icy sidewalk, hitting her head hard.  Luckily the lady of the house sees the fall and takes her in.  She doesn’t remember who she is or anything else.  In her pocket is a five-dollar bill and a house key.  And why does no one report her missing as the city stays in the grip of ice and snow storms?

TOM’S PLACE:  She’s homeless, although Tom recognizes she has too much “class” for that.  Why is she living on the streets?  And how does that help her realize what true friendship is?

About the Author

Audrey Schrum Boenig has been a voracious reader ever since she learned to read.  She also loves to write:  a journal, letters, anything.  These are Audrey’s third and fourth published stories and she has enjoyed writing every one of them.  She has three married sons, two granddaughters and a grandson (so far), and calls New Castle, Delaware, her home, after being raised in New Jersey and living in New York State for a number of years.
