As she turned in the doorway her dress tail swished; it was soft organza, flowered, lavendar, green and white. She descended down the stairs into the basement. I was left stunned and chilled to the bone. I had suspected, but now I knew who wandered the house.
The child with long blonde hair stood silently at the sink washing her hands, while no water ran, then in an instant she was gone.
She appeared to be a very proper lady, dressed in an old time costume, or so I thought. As I got closer I realized that it wasn't a costume, or a person, it was a ghost. She was not scary but pleasant, with a touch of sadness in her expression. She noticed me but we did not speak.
Suddenly he felt a swirling of the air, he did not know where it came from. Again he felt the air swirl and looked toward the door. There he saw her, she turned and walked down the hall. He stood and watched. She turned again and he waved to her. She waved back. She continued down the hall and then she was gone.

About the Book
This book was written because I believe it is time to reveal the things I have seen and heard. Upon relating these stories to my dad I was informed that if I told these stories someone would lock me away!
Maybe at that time but not now. Others have experienced the same things I have over and over again. Entities or ghost are a reality. You have only to open your mind to the fact. This book tells about myself and others who have had experiences with entities. Everything in this book is true...scary... but true. This book takes you from scary hauntings to the beautiful reality of someone gone before you coming to take you home. Lastly, an intervention of the Greatest Spirit is witnessed.
About the Author
K.B. Castillo has written one other book. In Bill's Word's was a book she wrote about her father. In that book she tells of the life of her father as a family man, a policeman and a Pearl Harbor Survivor.
In this book she wanted to tell of the experiences she and many others have had in their lives. All of the people in this book are real and all are true happenings.
The author resides in Spartanburg, SC but spends all of her free time in her home at the South Carolina Coast. These two books have taken an emothional toll on her and she hopes to free her mind and spirit with literary pursuits of a more frivolous nature.
