About the Book

This book entails about a topic that is more than just realization with young couples today whether they are black, white, or any other nationality. It is about men and women—streets and love that seems to be creating a thin line between the two and if it should ever be crossed by one another. The story of my relationship is meant to be a reflection and enlightment for many young women today who are standing by a man that is heavily bounded by the street life and a hustler’s way of living. My relationship shows the other side of this lifestyle and the man in it—it is of the woman who remained beside him beyond the streets, beyond the money, beyond the women, and beyond the hustla’s way of life. Due to the intenseness of this relationship and the man who expected so much more from this woman, she finds herself expressing her feelings and what she has become in this relationship through words from the heart to her hustla in letters throughout their relationship.

In this relationship, this woman experiences a world filled with love, heartache, happiness, pain, knowledge, streets, violence, danger, and then death in which left a relationship ended with a final love letter that was never received due to an unexpected death.
