Philip Walsh was born and went to school in Croydon, United Kingdom. He has worked as a musician, a graphic designer, in advertising, publishing and television. He has written five plays and a musical, adapted the film "The Slipper and the Rose" for the stage, and written numerous articles for magazines and newspapers. He has been married for thirty years and has three grown up daughters.
