About the Book

When Pete E asks his pal McDee to catch some E's for him, little does he know the adventure that awaits.  Join these two on their magical journey into a world full of sneaky pirates, intelligent animals, and ingenious spelling bees!   Together they must learn to brave the dangers of the pea green sea, and find a way to stop the pirates' evil scheme.  Most importantly of all, if they are to survive, then Pete E must learn how to spell and read.  For young and old, this cartoon coloring book unlocks some of the mystery and magic of the alphabet, with the hope of inspiring reading interest and creativity.

About the Author

Nancy Bucca lives in Riva, Maryland, with her husband and four children. As an author and illustrator, one of her goals in life is to take the boredom out of learning.  Out of this vision, Pirates, Trees, and Spelling Bees was born.
