About the Author

Sukether Williams Simmons is a Louisiana native who grew up in a small close-nit community named “Shrewsbury” near the Orleans and Jefferson Parish line. She developed her love for writing at an early age. With encouragement from family and friends, Simmons wrote her first published book of poetry “From the Corners of My Mind”
