About the Author
Douglas Blankenship has traveled the world and has viewed the world through the eyes of diverse cultures and different geographical and social settings. He has traveled to nearly one hundred and eighty countries. He has seen how humor varies. The English love to joke about the French and vice-versa. No matter where you go there always seems to be funny stories about some group that may have had a historical, social, economic or geographical difference. There seems to be a universal need to laugh at our shortcomings in life or those of our neighbors. Some cultures laugh about small things, some large things, some about ethnic characteristics, social distinctions, choice of food and how it reacts on our physical systems or the type of clothing that is prototypical to a certain group of people. We often laugh about these differences that dichotomize each socio-cultural-economic grouping. Mr. Blankenship has over ten years of university education with four college degrees from such well known Halls of Education as University of Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky University, University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) and Ohio State University. His Ph.D. work was performed at Ohio State University and UCLA, Master Degrees at University of Kentucky and Bachelors at Eastern Kentucky University. He is a highly successful real estate builder, developer and motivational speaker.
