“Mike, the story you want to hear is the explanation of how you can obtain eternal life. This Bible is the story of Christ so I will try to be as brief and to the point as possible. I will start in the beginning and work my way through the Bible so you can get the whole picture. Just realize I’m not the last word on the subject of the Bible, but I have been a pastor for over 40 years and have studied the Bible extensively. So if you have any questions, please speak up and I’ll do my best to answer.” “That’s fair Pastor, please start.” “In the beginning before time, before the earth was formed and the universe existed; God was alone. He has let it be known that He is the union of three persons into one Divine Being: God the Father, the Word of God, and the Spirit of God - all of whom we call the Trinity. He probably wanted companionship, so He created the heavenly realms with thousands of angels. His most esteemed angel was named Lucifer, and in the heavenly realms he had the highest position, the son of the morning. He was the greatest angel, but his downfall began when he became envious of God. His envy may have grown from the knowledge that the Word of God would take on a new nature. This new quality would become the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God in the flesh. “Lucifer became a schemer, a conniver, a liar in the first order. He convinced a multitude of angels, as many as a third, to support him in an insurrection against God. Lucifer’s goal was to be as great as God, but he got himself and his multitude cast out of heaven to earth. God then completed the rest of the world and put man together with woman in the Garden of Eden to work and care for the garden. Man and woman, being made by God, had the character of God: Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, and Self-control. God gave man his single-minded traits and woman her loving nurturing qualities. Together they shared all of God’s nature. Their lives were eternal and God’s love, nurture, mercy, and goodness surrounded them. This was paradise on earth; not even the thorn bushes would scratch them!”

About the Book
The Story of Eternal Life is the story of God’s plan for our eternal salvation, as revealed in His Word, the Bible. This is the story of Jesus Christ from the beginning to His ascension all Christians need to know, but few completely understand. It is condensed and written as if one very knowledgeable pastor is requested to tell the story to a dying man who is trying to figure out if God’s plan includes him. This account centers on the indispensable truth of humanities need for a relationship with God the Father, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Considering that truth is knowledge and knowledge is power, then in these times, the Story of Eternal Life has never been more important. Today’s new and inquiring Christians are constantly under assault by evil at every avenue. Worldly influences such as the media, music, movies, and activist groups are constantly trying to undermine and discredit Christians at every opportunity. We are also, misled and deceived by lower and higher education, and even worse, by some who represent themselves as teachers and ministers of God’s Word. The Bible is full of God’s wisdom, instruction, guidance, history, poetry, prophecy, and spiritual fulfillment. It is God’s gift, the indisputable written truth, we can rely on in this world of falsehoods. He provided the Bible, so we would have a guide to live by, know how to gain eternal life, and know how to become Christ’s ambassadors while we live. Sadly, statistics show only a very few Christians regularly read the Bible. This is one of the reasons for writing this condensed story. Another reason is so we can quickly learn the central truths of the Bible, which enable us to influence others to Christ and to live in the peace that Christ gives us all.
Imagine the influence Christians could have in the world if we were all spiritually armed with the knowledge of God’s story. Envision the result of all Christian’s taking the opportunity to share salvation to all who are lost to this world. Visualize what
