About the Author

Phil Cook is a forty-something martian who resides on Planet Earth in Cheltenham. Born and bred in Reading, Phil is married  - in name only - and has 1 son, who is fast approaching the dreaded teenage years. At the time of writing, Phil is still single despite earnest efforts to extract juices from Venusians far and wide. Having spent the past 20yrs working in hotels and cinema management, Phil has taken time out to find something he really enjoys doing. Writing and not working seems to satisfy those needs. When not writing, Phil can be found doing competitions (has won over 400), horse racing, listening to music, writing poetry or following his beloved Reading FC. A novel is to follow in due course.
