ON THE GO WITH JEREMIAH JOE is the rhyming storybook adventure of a curious and loveable gopher longing to explore a new world above ground.  When he burrows into the life of a menacing Mrs. Minnow, Jeremiah Joe quickly learns about friendship and the power of teamwork. About the Author

Bobbie Bishop (also known as "Grams") is a retired grandmother and first time author. A frequent volunteer with the Indiana foster care system, Bobbie hopes every child will find his way home, just like her story's hero, Jeremiah Joe. Through her own journey, Bobbie remembers a line from a favorite poem, reminding her to enjoy life and pick a bouquet of daisies along the way. This book is a fresh, new daisy in her beautiful bouquet and was inspired by her children, Carrie, Krista, and Kenny, and her grandchildren, Keaton, Colin, Kacie, McKenzie Mallory, Mitchell and Mikey. "Thanks guys. You're wonderful, and I love you!" Bobbie lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband, John.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Steven A. Jones graduated from the Indiana School for the Blind as class valedictorian. He also attended Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington and currently works in and around Indianapolis as a pianist. Despite his visual limitations, Steven has received art awards from the American Printing House for the Blind, the American Heart Association, and the 500 Festival of the Arts. Steven has also been featured on various television programs and in newspaper articles including USA Today.
