About the Author
Jon Gambee is the police and courts reporter for six newspapers in SW Michigan he has worked as a journalist for more than 35 years, including owning the Village Press in Richland Michigan. Gambee is also a 17 year veteran of the juvenile justice system, working in a juvenile detention center, where he currently serves as Senior Supervisor.
Gambee served two tours in Vietnam, the second as a Vietnamese Interpreter, and came home with a Purple Heart, a Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and too many bad memories.
He lives in Hastings, Michigan with his wife, Julie, and her son, Cory.
