Hermida Gibson has a rich history of life events. She is a former Sunday school Teacher for Adult Women, a former Instructor of Occupational Therapy at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a former 1st Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy (both active duty and Reserves). She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, leaving a sense of goodwill with everyone she comes in contact with. Her humble beginnings in Washington D.C., have instilled in her a lifetime of humility. “I Got A Rainbow” was written out of her deep compassion for the hurting children of the world. She has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, and a Masters and Doctorate of Educational Counseling. She further utilizes her education to help improve the lives of everyone she meets. On a more personal level, she has two children: a son, Lennon Givens, and a daughter, Martina Herndon. They both reside in Florida.
